Vaibhav joined Hatteras in 2024 to support deal flow and diligence efforts for MedTech and Healthcare IT investments. Prior to Hatteras, Vaibhav spent five years in strategy consulting across the life sciences sector spanning biopharma, MedTech, and digital health, most recently at ZS Associates. As a consultant, Vaibhav advised life science executives on questions of portfolio and growth strategy, market access and reimbursement, and revenue forecasting. During his academic training, Vaibhav conducted research on novel diagnostic applications of ultrasound with a focus on non-invasive measurement of cardiac stiffness to improve the characterization of heart failure.
Vaibhav earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 2018. Prior to graduate school, he completed a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
